Shoppers Drug Mart/Pharmaprix - Tell A Friend Event - Jan 11-13 - Official SC groups
It's been a long time since the last SDM referral event--August 2010. But just when we thought perhaps they were no more... here's another event!
During a referral event, the way our SDM/Pharmaprix (same store) groups work is like this:
- You are assigned to a group.
- Your group leader sends you an invitation by email.
- You use the invitation to sign up (you tell your group leader).
- You shop (you tell your group leader).
- Your group leader splits up the points he or she gets for referring you evenly between all the group members WHO SHOPPED when he or she gets them, a week later.
Communication is key. You must tell your group leader as soon as you have used his or her invitation to register, you must tell him or her after you have shopped, and you must ask him or her (or me) if you have any questions.

The only way to get in now is to volunteer to be a group leader and to either have a good reputation at smartcanucks, or on another board, or to have someone else with those qualities vouch for you.

If you want to join one of the official groups, EMAIL (DO NOT PM) the following information to [email protected]. REQUESTS TO JOIN WILL NO LONGER BE ACCEPTED AFTER SATURDAY NIGHT.
1: Your Name
2: Your SmartCanucks username (if you were to post, what would the board say your name was?)
3: What are the last 9 digits of your optimum number? (No spaces please. This is to transfer group points to you--we don't need a password)
4: Do you promise to shop Jan 11-13
5: Can you see your optimum account information online?
6: Have you already registered for this event? (You can't join a group if the answer to that is "yes".
7: Are you interested in being a group leader?
Luckily we have over a week to get all this sorted out. I'm writing from the states, so I will be slower to respond until I get home tomorrow. The site for the event still says it is happening in 2010, so we will have to double check the details of the event before signups begin.
