That I should be a model and that I should seriously look into it.

I am a redhead so I always get compliments on that subject. I just recently accepted having red hair to find that I am now going gray (DOH)

I have a contagious laugh.
Told I am cute, but I don't see myself that way.

One of the other doctoral students recently told me she was very glad that I stayed here for my Doctorate, since a lot of the other students don't seem to understand that it is actually hard work. Oh, and when I worked from home for a few days quite a few people missed me/noticed I was gone.... because there was no one sharing tea around the office

Not a verbal compliment, but one nice one recently was from a student that was in my grade 3 class. He has a lot of issues at home, and a lot of problems at school and really does not relate well to people. Well a couple weeks ago I went back to visit and he ran and gave me a great big hug and said he missed me so much and wanted me to come back and teach them.

I'm in my 50's but I've gotten quite a few comments that last few years where people mistake me for my daughter's sister or friend instead of her mother. I was even carded at a bar. Go figure! My husband called me his "Hot 50's chick"!

I knew that you would have that effect on kids
The nicest compliment that I have ever received was from my Adoption social worker who told me that I am a Great Mom and that she was so impressed with my oldest daughters progression since she has been with us.
Nothing could compare to the pride I felt when she said that

I haven't seen my dr in about 8 months as she was on maternity leave. I had to take the baby in for his cold as he is asthmatic and wheezing, she said I looked amazing. She had no idea who was with the baby....I have cut off all my hair. It's now short and stylish. Not to mention I have lost 90 pounds....going from a size 22 to a size 10. All done in a year. :o) She wants a before and after photo! lol
