Check you flyer bags - Sobeys SJ and Sussex ONLY are offering a make your own BOGO on the 7th and 8th...you just need the coupon.

Pick the item you want to put the coupon towards..just by one of the items and they will give you the other one for free...up to $15.

So I'm trying to figure out how to optimize the coupon....I'll have to look around the store, but I will likely buy 2 value size packs of steaks for around the $15 mark.

It's a good chance to buy some things you don't normally see coupons on or if you are very brand loyal to a certain item. Other items I am considering are laundry soap, batteries, recycling bags. Diapers, formula, club packs of certain frozen food...there are lots of options!

So what is everyone buying?

Sobeys east had them! 13.99 so they qualify! They only had a few packages. Size 4 X 3, Size 5 X 4, and Size 6 X 4.

Thanks!!! I completely forgot to go there to check, lol....I love the Overnites for "L" they never leak and she sleeps about 13hrs a night without waking so we need something that will last!! I should try and get another coupon and have Hubby pick up a couple of packs to since we'll need them for "E" too.

Did you decide what you are going to use the coupon for?

I was able to get a few more -my brother lives in a large apartment complex and he grabbed a few for me.

I will let you know what I get - I will have to see how things are priced today...as for meats and such. DH is going to go after work to the one on the north side and west side for some freezer items. I have a few hours to shop alone, thanks to my brother, so I will just grab what strikes me as a good use of our grocery $.

Our Sobey renovated just before Christmas last year and offered the same deal. I used mine on a Shick Intusion gift set and was able to score another one from my MIL and used that on a big bag of frozen shrimp.Super deal!!

I have NO idea why we have been so fortunate, however, I am thankful!

When I explained to my brother the possibilities of this coupon, I think for the first time he actually got why his crazy sister was so obsessed with coupons and deals...that and the six people we have to feed on one modest income .

I know there are so many things you can use it for that it's so hard to decide, lol...I was telling Hubby this morning about the deal we will get on the Overnites and his response was "ok".....he wasn't as excited as I was, lol.....

I used it today, but didn't maximize the savings. The prices for meat were high this week (7.99 per lb for chicken breasts and 3.99 per lb for ground beef), so I didn't want to go that route. We always need cereal, so I got a couple of club packs. Not very exciting!
