I had 3 of my grandkids here today and they are healthy ,happy, loud and lovely and the best things in my life! I am thankful for them evey day .....even when they give me their colds!

But a cold is so trivial compared to what SO many others endure. I often try to remember that when I think my life sucks... the lives of many others suck WAY more!

It has shown itself to be true today with all the outpouring of prayer and encouragement here on SC.

I am thankful for an answer to prayer for two friends. One has been sick for the last couple weeks. She was perfectly healthy then became very sick shortly after she left. She had been test for everything under the sun. She was eventually put on dialysis three times a week. Thankfully they found out it was an allergic reaction to Cold FX and Advil. Now that they know they can treat her. Not trying to scare anyone this could happen with anything this is just something she was allergic to. You never know what the body will react to..crazy<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><o:p></o:p>

The other thing I am thankful for is that the doctors thought a lady I work with had inflammatory breast cancer. You may know this is a very aggressive form of breast cancer. She has been through a number of biopsies and finally on Thursday they ruled out IBC. There is something going on but this is a huge answer to prayer. <o:p></o:p>

The final thing I am grateful is to find a wonderful place like SC. You have to be the most caring community. I have been here for 5 months and I must say I look forward to stopping by every night. It's nice to see how friends are doing and checking in to see what's new.
