I remember those books! I think I still have my Little Mermaid Hardcover (more like the Cinderella one in the pic)! I can't believe someone would throw out kids books!

I always love to read your post especially when they include your recycle walk.
The books may make you feel old but they were great stories and what an opportunity to share with now your own child.
I wish I lived in a residential area so I too could do the recycle walk
    Cheers

    Thanks everyone!

I got the feeling these were thrown out... cuz they weren't needed anymore--I think someone my age went thru a bunch of her childhood things and "recycled" some... these books are part of that.

There were more, but I went thru them and only kept what I really wanted--had to haul them around until I got home, lol!

I had that exact same Mother Goose book when I was a kid.
Who knows, maybe it's my copy that has been circulating the country.

You're not shy? I'd be so nervous someone would see me.

Its so sad the stuff people throw out! I mean those books are awesome! Most schools have book drives, so at least the person who threw them out in the first place could have donated them somewhere!
Definitly great work! You got a seriously great haul! WTG!
