My coupon organizer is almost empty!

I moved from Leduc to Airdrie two months ago and now my poor coupon organizer is experiencing a coupon drought. I no longer get the coupon inserts in the newspaper, nor have a group to trade with. Sure, I find the coupons on the shelves as I shop, but I'm definitely missing the SmartSource.

Besides coupons in the store, where else do you clip yours from in this area? Are there stores that are better than others down here? ... As in, areas of the city where the SmartSource rep is active.

Are there any trading groups?

I used to have a no flyers sign on my mailbox. Last week I removed that sign and I emailed a request to be added to the flyer delivery list. I didn't end up getting my flyers last week but my dad brought me his. (fyi I emailed the "flyer force" and the email was short and not even sweet. but I'll give in another week....).

I plan on stopping my flyer lady, she lives on my street. I'm going to ask her for any extras if possible. Do you know anyone who works in the Tim's or restaurant(s)there who would save you extra copies of the paper/flyer insert?

I *wish* I worked at my old job because all of us ladies had lunch together daily and I could have had any labels or pins or extra flyers form my lunch group/co-workers. Is that an option for you or perhaps a relative?

As for stores, I am finding all the coupons gone when I look I usually just take a few because I actually want to use what I take.

I also emailed all of my favorite brands over the holidays but so far not one has provided a coupon. Still waiting to hear back from a couple. Lastly, I am hoping to attend a local trade meeting if they exist.

I live in Airdrie too, but unfortunately I don't have any answers for you! I just started collecting myself, so I will be checking this weekend's papers for any coupons.

Brandsaver comes out about every 3 or 4 months but there is no set schedule for it. When it does come out it is almost always in the sunday Herald.
