Hey Swagfolk!
Have any of you signed up for Netflix? I'm thinking of it, not only for the Swagbucks but for the movies.
I'm fairly computer literate, but don't really know about how you'd hook your computer up to your TV so you can watch your movies. Does anyone have advice here?

All HD TV's have an HDMI port, and newer computers do too, so you just buy a CHEAP HDMI cable and you're set. I say cheap because some companies charge $60-80 per cable and they all function the same way.Quote:

With an older laptop that has a monitor port you can use one of the new tv's as a "monitor" and if you want sound and have suround sound you put the headphone jack to the line in on the suround sound and you have almost the same thing.
I got a 15 foot monitor cable on Amazon for around $15 and I got HDMI cables (12') for almost the same. I switch back and forth depending on if I need an extra screen to work on or if I am watching a show.
It is great.
