OK, I finally signed up and I am sooo confusedI did a couple of surveys, that is fairly straight forward. Can any of you guys tell me how I search? I just see a blank box with web, video etc how do I know what to search or am I just using like google? Also, I tried "lover's lane" and it doesnt work for me but did for a few of you today-WHAT AM I DOING WRONG? pls help, this is harder than I thought it would be-thanks everyone!

alohamom, yes you use the search like google. You won't necessarily get wins for the same things other people do, we just post them to give others ideas of what to search for if they have run out of things If you find a post from tvwatcher on here, there is a link to their blog on the bottom that will tell you things you might want to know, or Giving-small they are the masters this is a wonderful thread, though, everyone is so helpful!

you're not doing anything wrong with searching. search wins are completely random. however they seem to come in waves, where the 'search gates' open and it is more likely to get a win. some of us like to share what we used in a search to win, only to help those who want to try their luck at that particular phrase. however don't do too many searches back to back (eg. 10 searches in a minute) b/c you may get 'yelled at' by swagbucks since you are supposed to be actually searching something legit, rather than searching TO WIN.
a good tip is, instead of going directly to hotmail, gmail, facebook, youtube etc, type it into your search bar. you'll get more searches per day (and therefore more chances for winning) for websites you already use

check out the first and 2nd page of the forum. there's a lot more info about how to get more swagbucks faster, and get on your way to redeeming for awesome prizes!

Also, I see "homemade pesto" gave someone points, is that specific to that person or is it a shareable code? I tried it and it said it wasnt valid, so afraid I will get booted out. Also, my 15 points was the dinner valentine, are you guys just keeping track for fun or does that eman something?

"homemade pesto" wasn't a code, it was a search term that someone used that won them points

the valentine wins are special in that there are a number of them to collect, and when you collect the set you will get a bonus amount of swagbucks

most people use the toolbar, it gives you one free swagbuck a day and the search window is open on it, makes it easier to search. homemade pesto is just something someone searched for, there are codes most days to enter, there is always someone watching for them and they post them on here (not the actual code, just where to find it, cannot post the actual code!) There are 5 valentine collector bills and once you get them all they give you an extra 14 swagbucks! You are lucky, it took me days to get that one!
