really looking for some advice here....I bought a camera off of amazon it has a 2 year warranty on it and its damaged..the display is broke Do i ship it back to the seller or can i exchange it here in the city???

Finished another 100SB survey today and ordered another GC earlier too! :) Although this survey was pretty long and I would not want to do it again...

This depends on whether the manufacturer has an RMA office near where you are living. If you are living near Toronto, then there is a decent chance, but otherwise probably not. The manufacturers' website should have this information.

If not, I would contact Amazon first. They usually will send you a prepaid shpping label for the exchange, so you wouldn't have to spend any money.

However, I am unsure how long Amazon's warranty is, and if this has expired then you'll have to go to the manufacturer. In this case you'll most likely have to spend some money to ship the item, as most manufacturers only cover one way shipping, not both ways.

Also, most manufacturers have an Online RMA System where you have to input all your information before sending or giving the item, so checking the manufacturers' website is probably the best thing to do at first.
