    When I bought stuff from amazon.com and shipped from amazon I was always charged duty. I think it is 5%.

    Interesting that isn't it, because another Canadian posted on the discussion on Facebook a reply they got directly from swagbucks support, that the reason wasn't a glitch, but because some Canadians had tried to placed orders(through amazon.com using AGC's) for items that wouldn't ship to Canada and then got all flustered and contacted SB's about it to complain.

    I'd wager, that it was common sense, but more generally good business sense in the end and probably a few hundred emails complaining about the change rather than a glitch.
