This code works when someone signs up, Maizy.
I think when you signed up you received 30 bucks. :-)
Today if someone signs up and enters this code on the entry form they will get 80 bucks plus 30 bucks so 110 bucks. :excited::excited::excited:
So if you invite anyone, make sure you tell them to use the code and enter it on the registration form. It expires November 17.

This seems to be convention on other deal finding sites too. Not sure exactly why - maybe at one point the Bulletin Board Software couldn't do hyperlinks in posts like it can now and so conventions evolved based on that.
But it isn't odd in some ways due to how the board is set up.
Some of the places you might want to link to have been blocked from being posted on this bulletin board by the Smart Canucks site owners so often trying to link to a "competitor" site/community won't work. The link gets partially deleted and looks http://........com.
