points and coupons...

I haven't used my SDM points card in years. However, with all the free points that are out there I am starting again. I have a question about the points and coupons. A lot of people on here went and got the points for $75 worth of stuff but the bills were under $75 after coupons. Does SDM give you points for how much your stuff is prior to coupons?????? I hope this makes sense

Yes yes they do! lol As long as your subtotal before taxes is the required amount BEFORE coupons you will get your bonus points. Just make sure they are cents & dollars off coupons, NOT FPCs. FPCs will not go toward your total.

Gift card is no problem. now I bought the GC first when i went into store, then use the GC to pay for my bill

in $50 get 20x bonus day, I used to shop in SDM with $55 before tx and coupons, with coupons I only paid $30, however, the cashier and my invoice show I cannot get bonus... the Cashier told me must be $50 before taxes and AFTER coupons.. so who is right??

I haven't done it yet, meant to , but forgot yesterday, but you get points for buying a gift card, and then usethe cardto buy your items!

Also, does it matter when you hand the cashier your coupons for this? I always give them the coupons as they ring that item through, would thataffect things? SHould I had the coupons after they do a subtotal? Would that make a difference?

You are getting regular points for buying a gift card and it also counts towards your Plus status.

Buy GC you can get regular points, then u can use the GC to shop, if that day is $50+ get 20x points, you can get the 20x points PLUS the GC 1x point, so u get 21 points for total...

if you purchase GC every single time before purchase in store, every $800 shopping u get extra 8000 points, or $10 rewards

For cashier, they are happy you give them coupons when they rang the products, so they can save sometime to double check the coupons to match your products

I'm right! If you didn't get your points then something else was wrong, like you used a B1G1, or the cashier put a coupon in with the wrong code. Stop listening to the cashiers! We could have figured out why you did not get them if you'd asked here.

Yupper's Annes right I used coupons and my total was $68 dollars and I had no problems getting my points
