if you have a us funds account that it's going into, you'll get the written amount.

if you're cashing/depositing into a Canadian funds account, you;ll be charged what ever the TD's exchange rate is today (actually at the minute your transaction goes through. TD has a floating exchange rate)

Does that mean I will get the $19.54 from cashing my $20 cheque or I have to pay it..? haha I'm just dumb, I won't lie.

Ooook that makes sense to me, someone told me I had to pay a fee (when I bragged about getting this check - I think they were just jealous LOL) and I just wasn't sure how this worked at all - never had US funds
