Ah, but it's been decades (!) since I went out drinking green beer!

Worst experience - St. Patty's Day 1981 - got food poisoning, not from the beer, but from supper at the university residence where I was staying. Gosh, that was a horrid night. The meal was yummy after having been drinking all afternoon - roast beef, potatoes, veg - but there was something evil lurking in the canned mushrooms they put in the gravy - and there were dozens of us sick that night and for the next few days - talk about a bathroom scramble! Oh, I never, ever had such pain in my life with those stomach cramps.
Caused quite a brou-ha-ha then....
