They did say it will be several weeks before its fully out. First few days they were just able to do protection of property, putting sprinklers on peoples homes and cottages,etc. They saved the cache campground..dug an 8ft wide trench all the way around it and filled with water..Fire has been going for a week and they have managed to save 200 homes and cottages, and the only damage has been 2 sheds and a truck..

I had to tell Monk that I hope that this will soon be all over once & for all.

Then he continue to plan the First Annual "Smart Canucks Trek to Timmins" where we can all have one helluva a picnic.
