so my pet rat Max is no more. From the research I have done I am fairly certain he had a stroke. what a week.

the other rat is fine. but looks so lonely.

yeah, i like them too. i was bawling. i couldn't believe it. it was so sad to see him there all lethargic and unable to sit up without collapsing to the side. when i went to pick him up usually he runs and has fun with it. this morning he just looked at me listlessly and had no interest in the scrambled eggs i made him for breakfast. it was so sad. his eyes were all messed up too. he didn't even put up a fight when we put him in the bag. i think he just wanted to go.

the other rat looks so sad and keeps searching the cage. i think for his brother. its awful.

im sad about it. but i wouldnt want him to be suffering either. it was better for him to go now before we all got really really attached
