Went to Tommy this weekend...had some decent sweaters for $25....that's after the 50% promotion. I love the marketing strategies at Christmas.

I signed up for an amazon visa card and got a $15 dollar credit...
no annual fees, and the interest rate is like any other card, so that's alright...

Old Navy had a coupon the week before for 15% GC Purchase...so I got one of those too...

I have to try and find deals at Yorkdale...i have a $250 gift card there to use. Haven't shopped at that mall in years.

Today is, National Underdog Day! Established in 1976, National Underdog Day keeps our unlikely heroes in mind. The term underdog is believed to come from the shipbuilding industry. Planks of wood were referred to as dogs and, as they were placed, one man had to supervise from above while another, the underdog, stood in the dark pit below, covered in dirt and sawdust. So today we salute the underdogs who work just as hard as the heroes, but are never expected to make it out of the pit.
