Today is, National Puzzle Day! John Spilsbury, a London engraver and mapmaker, produced the first jigsaw puzzle around 1760 by mounting one of his maps on a sheet of hardwood and cutting around the borders of the countries to create interlocking pieces. Since then, puzzles have become an educational tool, a family pastime, and an ideal secret Santa gift if you don't really know the person you're supposed to buy for.

I`m puzzled why the school buses are again cancelled but I`m still forced to w*rk.

Three old ladies were sitting side by side in their retirement home in Cape Coral reminiscing. The first lady recalled shopping at the green grocers and demonstrated with her hands, the length and thickness of a cucumber she could buy for a penny.

Gas prices expected to rise 2.5 cents Jan. 30 According to En-Pro, gas prices are expected to rise 2.5 cents at 12:01 a.m. on Jan. 30, to an average price of 128.1 cents/litre at most GTA gas stations.
