I think the Capilano Safeway is going to find a decrease in profits with the opening of the Capilano SuperWalmart.

The prices are certainly lower at the Superwalmart, the selection of meats, deli stuff, and bakery is huge.

The fruit though was poor today. I expect it will improve but was opening weekend woes.

For us it is no brainer as we usually shop at Superstore..The SuperWalmart is five minutes away. The SuperStore 20 minutes. SW packes your groceries whereas SS does not. You can use your American Express card collecting airmiles where you can't at SS.

They do ad match at SW the only thing is they seem to have different size packaging which excludes the admatching. They also do not seem to put out coupons.
