ExpiredAfter doing 45 or so trades, I noticed that 90% of people use smaller envelopes for whatever reason. So I went ahead and bought my new box of 100 envelopes which is smaller in size. Now I realise that some coupons do not fit it these smaller envelopes. What do you guys do in such situation? Am I supposed to inform the other trader about sending folded coupons? quite confused as I prefer not to fold coupons. Are there any suggestions?

If coupons are folded in the terms and conditions they can hinder a cashier's ability to read them, and then...... they can refuse to accept them as the terms and conditions can be deemed "illegible." I personally have never had a problem using folded coupons, but I normally wait until near shift change at my LD and self check out at RCSS...... so they are either rushing or inundated.

everyone folds coupons..it doesn't do anything to them..if you don't want people folding coupons on your trains just ask them not to, but they might wonder why..as most people do.

as long as your not folding them in 8th's or quarters or making paper airplanes or oragami swans out of them, it's HIGHLY unlikely that anyone will care. The only major sin against coupons is STAPLES! lol

Thanks for the information. I just thought some traders might be offended and might want to know in advance. I don't ever recall receiving any folded coupons in my trades either, just thought will double check.

I tend to only fold some of the coupons, however I normally keep 90% of mine in good mint condition.
