Scored big time on dishwasher tabs at LD!!

I went to London Drugs to get the dishwashing powerballs they had for $2.99. There was none on the shelf but a sign said there was a shortage of the 25 pack green apple (which were the ones on the 3 day special) and they were substituting the 60 pack! Seemed a little strange to me but I found someone at the store and asked her about it. She looked at the sign and said it wasn't right but she took me to customer service and rang it in! I got 2 powerball - 60 count for $2.99 each minus a $5 when you by 2 coupon so total $.98 for both ! I also got 2 tide detergents for $.99 ( I never usually get tide since it is so expensive)!! I also got a bunch of cereals with 50% off pink stickers at Extra Foods - all in all a great shopping morning!

Yes, saw the sign there but I already had the 4 Tides loaded up and pasta and other stuff and couldn't carry so much with 2 hands! Gonna check it out later tonight!

My store had the sign too but when I went to the till and asked about it she said "no the ones that were $2.99 were the green apple and they went right away" and I said that the sign says these are replacing it and she said "yes but at $6.99 which works out to the same price" Boooo wanted to use my coupons

So with yours, did the power tabs RING in at the till at $2.99? Hmmm I didn't let them ring it in... Maybe I should go back and see...
