First Brag!!!!

I am soooo relieved!!!!! I never know how the cashiers are going to react when I hand them a stack of coupons!!! After shopping for about an hour at Walmart tonight, going through my coupons very carefully, making sure they all match what I am buying, I headed to the dreaded cash!!! I had quite a few Internet coupons, which always get looked at, inspected and I always wince, when they look at them yet again!!! So as I headed up to the cash, I scanned the cashiers, an older woman who looked like she was already annoyed :icon_scratch:... a younger woman who looked a little flustered :-~and a young guy :cool:, I've been through his register before. SOOOO glad I chose him...as I handed him the STACK of coupons, I said "please don't hate me" and smiled :angel: he was like, "Oh no worries"!!!!yay!! I was already relaxed!! Don't get me wrong now ladies, I am a late 30's married Mom, he's a kid, so he was looking at me like I'm his mom!!!:lolsign: Anyway I was nervous because I had 6 pkgs of stayfree pads on sale for $2.00 and I had 2 internet coupons for $2 0ff a regular priced item!!! also 2 more coupons $5 off WUB2...anyway, he was cool and didn't even batt an eye over it. and continued punching in all of my other coupons too.....so for my fist brag here's what I got from walmart,

2 Stayfree pads- $2.00x2-$2.00x2 off coupons(internet)=FREE!!!

1-Dempsters pita pocket-$2.00-.75(think breadcoupons)=$1.25
1-Dempsters tortilla-$2.00-.75(same as above)=$1.25
2-Eggo waffles-$2.37x2-.50x2=$1.87 ea(not a great price but I wanted to use the coupon as it expires in a day or so)
1-Puffs plus-$1.48-.50=.98

GRAND TOTAL BEFORE COUPONS=$63.84
subtract $39.00 in COUPONS=$24.84+$2.25 tax :P=$27.09!!!
Not bad, I saved almost $40.00 plus I got all of those sales too and
had a GREAT cashier who didn't get all huffy!!! I thanked him for his patience!!! Have a great night SC'ers!!!!:teeth:

Great shopping! I always choose the young men too. Maybe it was all those pads that made him nervous...if he's anything like my husband, he probably just wanted them out of there, so he would have punched in any coupons you had! LOL!
