I'm sure some of you have noticed and used the "thumbs up" at the top of a thread. This is a way to say "great thread" and also to recognize the poster for their contribution.
SC Expert Needed - for a while the people who had the most thumbs up in a month, would receive gift cards. Is this still the case??:shrug:
So how do you do it?
When you're on a thread that you like scroll to the first page first post. You'll see a grey thumb on the right hand side.

Simply click it.
It'll turn green and the number of thumbs up will increase by 1.

When you're looking all the threads under a tab like coupons you'll see the ones that lots of people have given a thumbs up like the High Five. So using the thumbs up helps everyone.

I have to say DITTO to everyone's answers.
I love the printable coupon section and the brag section.
I think one of the biggest etiquette things I have seen on the website is how many to get of a product - not clearing off the shelf and not taking all of the coupons.
I have to say that I love the $7 WUB3 venus/secret coupon and the $5WUB3 Greenworks.
Everyone is actually pretty sprightly and quick in this group. Love the answers. Learning something new each time I check in to read the thread.
For our assignment, I gave two threads thumbs up:

-And this thread-hot deals of the week Feb. 10-17-some wonderful deals there, especially from RCSS, Safeway, WalMart, and Zellers!

Awesome choice of a thread to share Susan. h. This thread is your shopping lifeline every week -- you can see at glance if something you need to buy is on sale for a great price. The wiki feature (people can edit the first post) is a super add - on to this page because one person doesn't have to do all the updates and the list can come together quicker and it's more complete.
Ok, I had my answer typed out but my computer crashed so this version will be a bit shorter...can't remember what I said! The thread I am following right now is the High 5 in the Morning thread about the Quaker/Tropicana MIR for $25 in coupons. I have found the thumbs up feature but somehow missed giving this one a thumbs up! Already bought 4 boxes of granola bars (PM to FB of course!) plus the required Tropicana product -- $2.97 -- all at Walmart. I hope to do it again tonight. Fingers crossed that the coupons are good...and hoping someone gets the inside track and posts it in that thread. :)

I have done some trains & trades but would like to do more. I need to make them a more effective experience -- I think that starts with making good wish/trade lists. So those topics get my votes (though they all sound good!).
