Do you purchase the specially marked Hamburger Helper and then cut out the coupon for $3.00 off ground beef?

Or, is this like the Green Giant combo coupon where you first had to purchase a box of Hamburger Helper. . . and then purchase a second box of Hamburger Helper AND Green Giant vegetables TOGETHER in order to redeem the coupon?

(I hope this makes sense. )

You would have to do the latter because it's WUB coupon, not a straight $3 off coupon (I'm 99% sure, but am leaving 1% in case misread the small print).

Of course, you can always sweetly ask the cashier if it would be alright to cut the coupon right there any then. I've done this before and haven't been refused. Of course it helps that I go prepared with travel sized scissors.

I have a ton of the previous HH coupons (get free vegetables) left so as soon as I find the store that has the packages with beef coupons I'll use my previous coupons to get the new boxes plus the free vegetables and then use the new coupons later to get the beef! I like this offer!

Here ya go! Here's the front of the box and then the coupon.

I bought this box tonight at RCSS (Grandview Highway, Vancouver) for $1.49 after I used a .50 off H.H. coupon to bring the sale price down from $1.99. To use the $3 off ground beef coupon you have to purchase another box of Hamburger Helper at the same time as you buy the ground beef. I'm not sure you could use a .50 off coupon on that purchase of the H.H. because it might be considered stacking. This coupon does say "Not valid with any other offer.".

Oh, and then I walked over to the Pricesmart nearby and bought a box of the H.H. with the FPC for Green Giant Vegetables on it. They were on sale for $1.47, so I paid .97 after using a .50 off H.H. coupon. Methinks I have a lot of H.H. in my future.

Thanks for the info..I did look for the HH box today but now know exactly where to find it. I would probably just cut the coupon out right on the spot as someone suggested, in order to make it worthwhile!

Keep in mind the coupon says "...with your NEXT purchase of Hamburger Helper". I guess I would take a plastic bag with me and some scissors and then butcher the box out in the car and then go back in with the coupon and get the next deal... and repeat as much as you like!

Well, my other option is to patiently wait for one of my silly coupon tossing neighbours to put an empty HH helper box or two in the recycle bin....I found two cereal boxes with coupons on them that way...more doubtful about finding the movie pass ones but hey who knows...people are always tossing free stuff away..
