Lame Duck Day
Not about your poor injured pet, this day is to commemorate the 1933 ratification of the 20th Amendment about presidential succession. After each election there is a period of out with the old, in with the new, where the old president does his best to seem useful while the new one gets all the attention.
One awesome day on the slopes with great sun & snow. Things to improve with much needed snow over Thursday & Friday. Did notice the sun still out at 545PM....hope for you summer folks.
Yesterday was the anniversary of my grandfather's death. My mom sent me this picture of him from his days in Belgium after WW2. He is on the left.
