Plus it gives me an excuse to go shopping in the US. They have so much stuff we dont have.
The crib was super cheap in comparison to the same models we have here. It was on sale from $199.99 to $149.00.
Even the bedding was a lot cheaper. I looked at TRU and they wanted between $100-$200 for complete bed sets, but walmart.com has theirs for $50!
Not to mention the exchange rate is like 99%. :)

I always bring a "permission slip" from DH when I go state side. I usually dont need it, but sometimes they ask you a ZILLION questions as to where DD's father is and is he okay with her going out of the country. That's when I just pull out my permission slip (it's just a little note saying the date and that he knows we're going to the US and his contact info). lol. It saves A LOT of hassle sometimes.Quote:
