So, I just watched a US show called extreme couponers, lol, and saw the incredible amounts of money they saved.
Do coupons work the same in canada as they do in the U.S.? ie) do our stores have "double the coupon" and things like "pay you to buy the product"? And why can't I find coupons that give me big savings?

In Canada, very rarely you find double the coupon offers..
Based on where you live, you can stack the coupons with different UPC {Universal Product Code} for the same product.
To maximize your savings..look for specials/clearance/deals and combine with coupons...
Some stores also allow stacking of In Store Coupons with Manufacturer Coupons.
You can find all these tips in the coupon forum..

pharmasave in ontario -just had a double coupon day -it was awesome
We do get lots of stuff for free and occasionally get paid to take it (a few cents maybe). But nowhere near to the degree they show on that show. It is still well worth the effort though, in my opinion.
