Check, many food banks just chuck them and dont give them out so you may be better off finding an alternative way to use them

For 'must have on hand' items such as baby formula, I'll use an expiring coupon on regular price just because its better than paying regular price without a coupon.
Just about everything else I have coupons for I'll coupon fairy around the local shops ( I always tuck the coupon halfway under the product so it doesn't blow away or fall off the shelf) or just add as extras in trades.

Never never never, not unless we need the item. And for toiletries and whatnot, we darn well shouldn't, I'm stocked through the roof.
I'll use coupons on some items if they're not on sale if they're cheap in the first place and I know the sale price won't take much money off of it anyway, and I need it NOW. Pineapple in a can is an example of that.
If coupons are expiring soon, I'll just hand them out at stores if I see people who have the item.

always -i mean always use a coupon on sale items -maybe once in a blue moon i use on a regular priced item- i put them in stores on the shelf, or put them in a train so others can use them instead of throwing them out- go to a coupon meet and let people take them -or just throw them out near the end

The problem I have is that I usually don't notice the coupon's expiration date until that day or in a store want to use it and found out it expired a day or two ago..... it's horrible.... and somehow it happens a lot with save.ca because the date is like in the middle of the week and by the time I want to use on a friday I realized that they just expired...
