I like Essie, but I do find it's a 2-3 coat polish. And DEFINITELY a top coat. I put on my favourite Essie chrome coloured polish and the very next day it was chipped at the top, and it wore through like it was dissolving every time I washed my hands.

100 sealable envelopes for $3 (good for sending cheques), tape dispenser with a couple of containers of tapes $3 (nice and heavy, looks like it was issued by us post office), hallmark notepad $3 (reg'l price was 12.99 -comes with pen, would make a good teacher's gift), post-it note dispenser $3 (handy if you use a lot of post-it notes).

I saw a really cute Russ blue birdie (reg price $14.99) for $3...but upon further inspection I saw a yellow stain on it (on its white belly), sorta looked like someone urinated on it.

I was happy with my purchases yesterday. I am planning on opening a temporary daycare for school aged children this summer, so I'll be going back to purchase more supplies. Our LO loves hockey, so this was perfect for him too.

Just bought a big book for my preschooler. Its called Everything for. Early learning. It is a thick workbook for 3 bucks. They also have paper doll princess book for 2$ (6 princess and lots of princess clothes), they also have this kids baking set ( silicone moulds, wooden spoon, spatula etc). I think they also have a cars or thomas coloring book that has crayons included, good quality.

Was at dollarama in ottawa (on merivale) today and found a RCA refurbished digital antenna. We don't have cable because it isn't in our budget but the antenna was $3 so we thought it was worth a shot.
And it works!! We get 15 free channels (10 English).
I can watch jeopardy again!!
If you don't have cable and want a few channels - keep your eyes out!
