    the sewing kits look interesting..thanks for sharing. I have to try a downtown shop that has more English text books. Did anyone else see the Elf on the shelf birthday book? I saw it at Dollarama for 3 bucks and then for 10 bucks at Winners.

    FOUND my mortar and pestle :D the tip of the pestle and the inside of the mortar are not polished, is that ok to crush spices in the mortar? never had a stone one so i don't know. thanks

    They're not supposed to be polished, that way you crush more, faster. Otherwise the surface would be too slippy. Glad you found it. Funny though, I was in the Dollarama for the first time since I found my set and I thought of you, wondering if you'd found one yet
