Dial bodywashes silk and ginger, sea minerals, himalayan salt and silk and orchid $4.00.
i got some materials from dollarama and dollartree and made a reusable cupcake stand. I did not want to spend $8.99 on a themed cardboard stand. Hopefully it inspires someone to make their own too.
dollarama large plastic plate $3.50 x 2; ice cream cups $1.50 x 2, rhinestones $2/pack; "happy birthday" banner/cake topper $1.25
dollartree small plastic plate $1.50
stuff already have at home: candles; 2 LOL dolls; color changing light bulbs
walmart: 8" round cake $6, pack of 6 cupcakes $4. If you have never had these from walmart, I highly recommend you try. I can make my own but I discovered the ones from my local walmart are pretty darn good and the price is right too. Save me lots of stress and time making my own.
bottom layer had LOL surprise balls which I got during boxing day sale at $5.97/each (i think reg. price was $15/each)

has anyone tried their hair dyes? i've tried two so far: Clairol L'Image and Revlon Colorsilk. My original hair color is dark brown and the Revlon dark brown one worked very nice at covering my grays. I've spent good monies on fancy hair dye kits at shoppers before but so far the ones at dollarama are budget friendly and worked!

https://www.cbc.ca/news/business/dol...tion-1.6402280: "A Canadian retail chain that made its name by selling things for a dollar is raising some of its prices to $5.
In its quarterly results on Wednesday, famously cost-conscious Montreal-based retailer Dollarama showed it is not immune to the inflationary pressures that every part of the economy is feeling right now by revealing it soon plans to sell items that cost up to $5.
At present, the most expensive items the chain sells cost $4, and most cost less than that."
Softsoap improved milk and honey liquid hand soap $2.00.
