Yes there are 12 little LEDs inside the beam, and the beam is really quite bright for only 3 AA batteries (lit up my entire storage closet.)
If it truly will last 20 hours as listed on the box, this will be really handy to have around (Our last power failure was about 6 years ago, but I'm still spooked by the memory of our pitch black living room at night.)
It's really a tiny thing about 7 inches tall by 4 inches wide, very compact and lightweight, even filled with the batteries.
I found it with the summer lighting stuff at one Dollarama store, and with the electronics storage devices at another. Hope this helps.

I saw Barilla pasta today at Dollarama for $1. They also have Laura Secord chocolate bars for $1.50.
Never did find the totes.

Today I also found a Decree purse -- it was green and had a shoulder strap and hand straps...I couldn't really find one that was similar on google, but it was a decent purse. It was green and had 2 outside zipper pockets, and a zipper to close the purse. I should have taken a picture! I didn't buy one, but for $3.00, I might think about it some more!

I bought the organizer yesterday and love it, my coupons were a big mess in my bag before that because I didn't want to carry around a big coupon binder. Thanks for posting about it.
