Dollarama Grabs!

I can confirm the Christmas "invasion" in August. We received our first skid of last year's pack-up today. Blah! What the heck with the merchandising rushing this year... Soon enough we'll have all holidays up at once in the store!

Anyway, new finds on the $3 front! These soft bath towels that I thought were microfibre at first, but they don't stick to my fingers like microfiber does. Bought two, but haven't used yet, so I can't tell you how absorbent they are. We also received these world globes with the back to school stuff.

Saw these at my local store on Thursday and they are so soft!!! Like you I thought they'd stick to my fingers like how most microfiber stuff does which jeeves me out! But they don't at all!

They are really bad quality. I got one for my son and couldn't use liners - they were very thin and had very strong smell of newspaper ink, not safe at all, especially for kids.

My son's would love those pirate kits!

Yesterday I visited Dollarama briefly and found: Tame Shampoo(with either Argan or Moroccan Oil)for $2! I was like Whoa!? they still make this brand? LOL! Haven't seen it in years! Also found Pop Corners Rice Snacks $2! These are really good bought a ginormous bag at Costco. They had Sea Salt and another flavour!

Yesterday I bought a pack of Ziploc brand containers. It came with six containers I believe with screw-on lids. There were two colour options. I went with the purples/lime green. They are really nice and perfect size for lunch snacks. The packaging in the store is Ziploc. But the containers have The First Years on them. Calendars for 2014 have shipped! They are much nicer than last years offerings at Dollarama, IMO. These pictured below are still just a buck.

I also saw a bunch of Disney themed calendars for $2 (I didn't get any of these, so sorry, no pics.)

I find the other glass jars there don't seal great and this one is really nice!! Make sure to look at the bottom of the jar to see the company sticker.

Noticed family-sized cans of Chef Boyardee (again) and a few chocolates for christmas....small boxes of hot-chocolate spoons (same as last year) and "Lovely Night" (or something like that) HUGE-sized chocolate bars.

Also found these fake flowers, in little pots, that light up...well each flower has a little light in the center (sorry no pic) But they were kinda cute

Today I came across a very nice border of baby Mickey and Pluto. A large one too.
I also came across some CARS that I haven't even seen out at Walmart, such as Prince Wheeliam and a few others.
Came across some more Ganz stuffed toys too!

at the store in heartlake Brampton found a set of 2 Wilton pocket pie mold $2 (a rectangle and a round) going back today for a other set after checking online and saw that the rectangle mold alone is $8.

I don't know if anyone noticed the glass mason jars at Dollarama (in variety of sizes) but now they have the plastic ones with lids....found some medium sized ones (there are tiny ones as well) on an end cap.....they're awesome for organizing anything from office/craft supplies to hair elastics and so on! They come in a pack of 3 for $2 if I remember correctly.....the lids are silver metal. I love these things....gonna have to go back to get more....have a feeling they won't be on the shelf long!
