the easiest way to do this is to take Mrssmithextremeshopper.com skype USA shopping class! The stores double and triple on certain days or events. You can print copies of the redplum, smartsource etc from online...as well as printing the coupons from the stores websites. Check out Krazy coupon lady and deal seeking mom (she has a bunch of coupon policies online you can print and put in your binder!).

always a good idea if you go down alot to get a cheap mail service in blaine that will forward mail up after a certain time for low cost or that you can pick up from 24 hours a day like http://www.pacificmailandparcel.com/MailboxRental.cfm. Then you can get american coupons and samples mailed to you at a real address then either pick them up or have them shipped at a very reasonable rate!

I live 5 min. from the border - I'm thinking seriously about going over every Sunday, getting gas & buying 1-2 papers for inserts (and looking around to see if I can get 'recycled' ones for free ) and then going down at least once a month to get 'freebies' - ie. it's on sale for $2 and I have a coupon for $2, etc.

If you're going over to get gas anyways then it might be worth it. But if it's mostly for the paper, you might not have to go over the border for one. Here in Windsor just about any store that sells newspapers also sells the Detroit Free Press, which does have the coupons most weekends, so maybe there are stores in your area that carry a US paper too.

If any cross border shoppers are interested, I always have US coupons to trade (I usually get 2 copies of the booklets each weekend). It's a short list right now because there weren't a lot of coupon flyers in December, but there were 2 last weekend so it's getting longer

I live 20 min from the border in BC too, do you know which stores double or stack coupons. I have learned that Target has coupons on their website you can stack with mfg coupons. CVS and Walgreens also have special coupon rewards. I have called Safeway, Hagens, Cost Cutter and Fred Meyer non stack. Any ideas?

CVS seems to be cheaper then walgreens. If you dont have the CVS savings card they scan the store care so you get the same sale.
