I still agree with the small child, folding the cloth toilet paper strips, "Mommy this one is still dirty."
Yikes.
Out of the mouths of babes comes wise sayings.
Poor little child.
The day after Christmas four shoppers one is Joel trying to buy forty presents for $100 for a childrens hospital.Missy is shopping for a year of clothing for her twin boys.Hope it's not Joel with the fake toilet paper coupons and Missy with the closet of pop and a room fill of inserts.

See if the Americans can outdo us shopping on Boxing Day TLC has Extreme Couponing Holiday Hauls on tonight March 6.
Saw the show Canadians are better shoppers not to mention more polite. That's was ridiculous Joel grabbing that Lego figure from that kid when there were plenty. What a ridiculous predicament not thinking about how to carry all the stuff. The lady from Detroit can't remember her name not buying her husband a Christmas present because she didn't get to the store in time before Christmas. She's an extreme couponer when does she spend time away from the stores.Missy spending Christmas Day making up her shopping plan what about time with the family on Christmas Day.The last lady who was unemployed buying presents for later in the year and candles she didn't need. She should have stuck with immediate needs. The ridiculous mentioning of she'll have to pay the tax if they can't remove it from the computer. If that's the sale is no tax they better not be charging tax.

Just watched their Black Friday hauls.
They had 40 to 60 per cent savings. They spend between $500 and $1100.
Sorry, we don't have that much for Christmas giving -- so I did not get why this was an example of extreme savings.
Oh dear, I feel bad for the owner of the Glazier's store that Chris shopped at. I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt and saying I don't think Chris knew they were counterfeit.
A lot of "free" coupons on Ebay are fakes - more so in the states than in Canada I've noticed - and you have to be insanely careful. I guess he just wasn't careful and didn't ensure that they were legitimate... :(
I hope he does the right thing and pays the store what he cost them, because 200+ 32-Load Tide is a huge, huge, huge loss for an independent store. :(
It is just me or us Canadians can't save as much as our US counterparts when it comes to coupons. Some of the extreme couponing episodes make me envy. I find that my reaction experience is the same as some people reported getting their printable coupons accepted at some well known retails chains. Check out the comments here.

No, it's not you. It's impossible to save as much as they protray in the show. Even blackbelt tightwad couponers in the US will admit to not being able to achieve those kinds of savings and one of them was featured on the show! A lot of the shows are staged and coupons policies ignored to bring down the prices.
One Canadian lady I follow on the internet manages to get a lot of coupons from some of the coupon mailing sites, but that's because she signs up family members who give her the coupons when they get them.
And plus we are privileged with the 13% HST here in Ontario. The other day I got a 2 for 1 coupon for New York Fries in the Mail from TD bank (I guess for being TD Visa customer), so I went to my local mall with my friend. I was disappointed to know I could only use the coupon for regular fries. And with the final bill of $10 something (including HST on both Fries), the saving of just $3.99 looked really distasteful. The show really gets your hopes high. I was hoping to save $10 and pay only $3.99...lol
