You're right this is totally based on how things work in the US. First our Sunday papers are not ALWAYS filled with "vast amounts" of money saving coupons. Maybe they are just trying to increase paper circulation lol.
Also coupons.com and smartsource.com are US coupon websites. Those coupons cannot be used in Canada. What are they thinking!!!
I haven't figured out what a jumbo pack is yet. Isn't it smaller than a mega pack? Why can't they just say small, medium, large? Who does Pampers think they are, Starbucks?
.
I loved the first lady this week, she was peppy and cheerful and I just all around really liked her.
The second one irked me JUST a little when she said she'd never tried the couscous. I don't know if that means ALL couscous or just that brand, but I wouldn't buy 100+ boxes of stuff I don't even know if I like! At least she can donate them if she finds out everyone in her house dislikes it.
If you noticed though the couscous was on sale for $2 and she had $3 coupons, so each box made her $1. That was one of the factors that brought her bill down and gave her back $50+ on a GC.
The overages when available are a big factor in the US to getting their groceries for free. If we were allowed overages like they are we'd be getting alot more groceries for free too lol.
the couscous would be a great item for donation as it's a staple,I have 2 boxes in the cupboard for about 4 years [garbage time].
I can almost guarantee that family won't like couscous.
