What I liked about last nights shows are the people seemed more down to earth. Not as much buying for the thrill of it.

It was sweet that Shavon and her sister Mandy kept talking about grandmother Flossie who helped them learn to coupon. Loved Flossie's motto, "Fifty cents or less, but free is the best."
Shavon is really organized, bringing a cooler to the store for chilled or frozen products, using the little baskets to sort the orders and coupons in to 19+ transactions, and they wore their running shoes.

I've only watched snippets of last season's shows, I'm glad to hear they appear to have made things more reasonable. But...19+ transactions...yikes. I wonder if the store did it for the benefit of the cameras. I don't know any store/cashier that would tolerate doing that...nor would I be the sort of customer to even attempt such an ordeal.

i'll admit i like the more seasoned couponers.. they seem to be less about the insanity of getting as much as they can and clearing shelves then the newer couponers who are trying to outdo themselves buying whatever they can just to hit that magic number
When life hands you Edward Cullen...throw him back and demand Eric Northman....

I watched some re-runs on TLC last night. Glad to see the one woman uses her stuff for her Church and to feed them.
