Free Cooking classes at RCSS

Hi, this is my first time posting with a deal. Hope this would be the right place for this one.

RCSS has cooking classes one day a week called 'What's for Dinner'. It costs $10, they do 2 or 3 different recipes in 1 hour. You get a sample of what they made and a $10 gift card. So the class is free! :)

I went today for the first time and it was very nice and the recipes were very good. Of course we all received our gift cards at the end of the class.

I assume every RCSS will have a different day and time for these classes so you will have to look it up on the website. You also have to register in advance at the store or online.

Although I appreciate your information, it would really help if you put Real Canadian Superstore in the title. I shop there all the time (have for decades) and have never heard it referred to as RCSS.
Also, a link would have been helpful, too. I had to google a lot to finally find out that they don't offer the classes in BC.

Here in Ontario, it has always been referred to as RCSS.

Here on this site it is known as RCSS. It is much quicker to print that than the whole store name. As far as everyday life off this site to me the store is called Superstore.

RCSS is a like someone else said a quick way to type it and Superstore is what i have heard everyone call it. Hmmm i wonder if any manitoba RCSS do this? Im gonna have to ask my momma! She works there. Although the one my mom works at is kinda slack so I doubt it! Sweet thanks for posting this!

I've seen the signs for "What's for Dinner" classes but I didn't realize that they might have a free GC at the end - hmmmm I'll have to check that out! Thanks for the heads up!

I looked at the offerings for the Oakville, ON location. All classes are held from 12-1 pm, so attendees would have to have lunchtime free. Nice offer for those who can get out and learn some dishes, then shop! BYOBag though.

most people are aware of the concept of acronyms, in which every capital letter is representative of a longer word, the acronym being the easier short form to use in correspondence.......:)

there is a Sticky, I believe in several places here on SC (hint: that's an acronym for the popular Canadian shopping forum known as SmartCanucks.ca, ;)) that refers to all the acronyms used here on the site........

the Newbie Section strongly recommends that people new to the site read through all the stickies to familiarize themselves with all the basic info. (especially acronyms) used within the site. :-)

I did an informal survey and not one person (here in Vancouver) knew what RCSS was.
I still contend that this post could have been better if it had RCSS in it's full form and with a link.
And yes, I do know what an acronym is so the previous poster needn't be patronizing about it.

RCSS and Superstore both work for me , and for most regulars , just like SDM which would be a pain to type in full , not every store is called The Bay :lolsign:
