SDM what is the best deal

So im almost at 95K points on my sdm card and im trying to figure out what is the best route as far as redemption/bonus pt events etc. goes my question is:

is it better to wait for redemption events(like the one this weekend) were sdm gives extra $30 off when you have 95K pionts

or can we redeem on 20X point events ie spend 95K in points and get 20X on the points redeemed ( i think i read somewhere that sdm does not do that)

so i guess my question is when is the best time to redeem your sdm points?

You don't earn points when you redeem.

Normal redemption of $170/95000 pts = 0.18 cents/pt
Bonus redemption of $200/95000 pts = 0.21 cents/pt
Mega Bonus redemption of $250/95000 pts = 0.26 cents/pt

I've never redeemed so I'm still trying to figure out the Math. If you are saving up for something big that never goes on sale then I think the Bonus Redemption is Great. But if you just redeem for small things it might be better to redeem when they are on sale.

I'm only at 65k pts and don't know what I'm going to redeem for yet. Our stores here are all small, so I'm going to check out a bigger SDM store on my next trip to EDM.
