Thread: Printable Coupons?
-
Mon, Mar 14th, 2011, 11:40 AM #1
Which stores accept printed coupons? Mainly interested in :
Superstore
Sobeys
Shoppers
Walmart
Zellers
The printable coupons always seem great, but I don't want to try and use them somewheres where they aren't accepted, I'd get embarrassed, and my face would go bright red!!
Thanks for any help! This thread is currently associated with: Real Canadian Superstore RCSS, Shoppers Drug Mart, Sobeys, Walmart, Zellers

If you go here:

you'll get all the store policies. You might want to print these and keep with you. They do come in handy

I've never tried Sobeys but I haven't any problems using them at any of the other stores.

Walmart in Dartmouth crossing only allowed me to use one printed coupon each trip....not so sure if it is just that cashier's own rule though.
Had no problems at Zellers

haven't had any problems at any of them, even when printed in B&W instead of color.

I find Zellers are not finicky about most coupons. I've never had trouble-printed or otherwise. Walmart can put up a stink sometimes. The manager at Sobeys says the printed ones have to say "Internet Coupon" on it or they won't take it, because they won't get reimbursed for it. I learned from experience, and actually posted something about that problem a few months ago. He told me there was a big scam or something a while back where lots of people were using illigimate coupons for some Maole Leaf product (I think it was) and they got screwed. Just make sure it says it's valid in Canada, obviously, but some sites I've tried don't tell you or show you until you've printed the thing off and wasted your ink. In short, if I can price match something at Zellers, I'll buy it there because, like I said, our Zellers, in New Minas anyway, is very easy to deal with. Plus, you get the HBC points!
