Thanks for posting this!
I have a question though... If my total is above $50 before taxes, can I then use coupons for money off and/or FPCs to bring my total down and still get the 20x points?
I have several FPCs that I would love to use for this event if I can still get the bonus points.

FPC to bring total down NEVER counts..
money off coupons to bring total down usually counts for 20x point events / buy XX earn XXXX point events..
HOWEVER i see some difficulties with this one as it requires a cashier to scan the coupon on which they would say your total is under $75 and refuse to scan... i sapose you could try and get them to scan it first.. 20x point events come around all the time. not really worth the hassle this time, better do it when its automatic.

I wrote this message on the blog on this same subject but thought.. hey maybe some here has the answers I am looking for )
I heard the is also a Pharmaprix coupon for this same event... I haven't found it thought... or can this coupon be used at Pharmaprix? It's basically the same store but french with Optimum points and same exact promos (usually).

I'm just wondering if people actually spend that much money at Shoppers Drug Mart?
I've never encountered a person who actually bought enough items to get the bonus points.DANGER
