Ziploc Bag bargoons

I price matched the ziploc bags on sale at Food Basics.
They are listed 7's - 100's for $1.99.
Price applies to most varieties--sandwich (50 or 100 count) and freezer.
I used the buy 2 save $ 4 coupons and my SPC card.
1.99 x 2 = 3.98 - .40 + HST = $4.04.
That comes to 2 cents a box.
My Zellers had the value 30 large freezer bags and 40 medium freezer bags.
Definitely time to stock up.

Zellers usually have issue with coupon that is 1 cent difference. WalMart would be easier. But think this printable itself also said no store discount kind of condition, so some cashiers could give you issues.

Where do you do the price match at the cash or at customer service. My Dominion has been a pain so if they don't take a printable I may try to price match as Zellers or Walmart but Zellers could also be picky. What do you think?

I always pricematch at Walmart. It sucks not being able to use my SPC card, but I swear the fact the walmart is coupon friendly against the way Zellers customer service and cashiers try to make you feel like you are stealing or worse just won't do it far out ways the 10% of pennies

That was my plan as well!! Since I don't have the VIP SPC- the 15% coupon is a huge bonus. Anyone know if we can use the 15% off more than once before the expiry date or is it a one time only offer?

Which Zellers? Email or call home office. They will tell you that you in fact CAN and WILL price match and allow you to use coupons, whether it be printed or not. If this happens at Zellers again, call home office right in front of them or tell them to call themselves so they can be properly educated about their store policies.

I had a problem using the printable coupon at Walmart last week - the cashier and supervisor claimed that I had to purchase what was pictured even though in bold letters at the bottom it claimed "Any Ziploc Brands". Anyways, wrote to rightathome to verify and she is sending me coupons for free ziploc items for the hassel which was awesome.

My next Walmart trip I tried it and had no problem. So that's the extra bonus.
