    Howdy my smarty friends!

    I have a question!

Pet Smart has their Beneful Prepared Meals on 3 for $5! Because I know Petsmart doesn't carry a huge stock and Walmart won't price match if the other store is out of the product, I was thinking about price matching at Walmart first, then going to Petsmart and getting some more.

I have done a ton of trades lately for the Beneful Prepared Meals, I am having Dane pups in May and need to stock up so I don't pay full price (sheesh, wish I was couponing last year for my last litter)!!! I am in need of several of these but I promise I won't shelf clear or abuse my Walmart Coupon privilages!

Anyway, I want to price match the 3 for $5 at walmart and then put a $1.25 coupon on each one. Making it $1.25 for all 3! I called my Walmart and asked if I could price match and if there was a limit and if I could put a coupon on a price matched item and they said yes price match, no limit and yes I could put a coupon on as well.

So would this work? Would I be allowed to put a coupon on each product even though it's a "multiples" sale for example 3 for $5!?

Please let me know your opinion!

I've done this multiple times and have not had any issues. They will technically only be price matching the item anyway so it doesn't matter how many you purchase, the coupons then are just get redeemed as usual.

I've price matched 2/$5 items, and used coupons at Walmart. I really don't see it being a problem. I do reccomend cashier profiling though. Not sure how you'd go about it, but some cashiers may have issues with the math invloved, and the amount you'll be purchasing. Even better, maybe just going to the Customer service desk?

i dont see any problems.....3/$5 simply means each can costs 1.67. You dont have to buy 3 to get the deal. They just advertise it that way to sell more inventory.

I've also used the B1G1 coupon as well as the $1.25 at Walmart and they have no problems. 3/$5 can turn into 10/$5 but of course the $1.25 is a better coupon. Some cashiers only allow 12 per limit on a price match but it's up to them. It's all my dog will eat so I buy it every time it is on sale

Yup, you shouldnt have any problems at all.
Besides that, my WM doesn't call to check stock at another store, unless a limited quantity item, or "special" price. They can't be bothered cause they don't have the time for it

I do this all the time and I've never had any problems! Even if its a "multiples" sale, you can still use 1 coupon for each item you purchase. So if it's 3/$5 and you have 3 coupons, go for it!

Yep, like the other posters I've never had a problem doing that. You're just taking the coupon off the $1.67 (price per package when you breakdown the sale).
