Thread: No Frills = No stock
-
Sun, Mar 20th, 2011, 12:30 AM #1
I went to No Frills tonight and of course they were out of so much stock. This has been happening a lot lately. This is only the second day of the new flyer.
Also, going through the vegetable aisle was pretty disgusting - quite a lot of vegetables were beyond sellable.
I'm going to shoot off a complaint to Loblaws.
I really liked this store but have been very disappointed the past few times and don't really know if it is worth going anymore.

I have PM'd at Zellers and they are pretty good with that. I didn't know Walmart would PM. Good to know!

I think they are out of stock because they have such awesome deals on certain things. Then everybody rushes there to buy them. On their last flyer they had the 64 load Sunlight on for $4.77! Like when do you ever see that price for Sunlight?
But there isn't any reason for their produce section to be so yucky.
Hey, do you guys know if No Frills accepts printable coupons?Last edited by sarah_300c; Thu, Mar 24th, 2011 at 09:45 AM.

Yes they do accept printables and absolutely no problem. I went back to NF last night to see if they finally had some of the items in stock.
I bought a case of the Ocean Spray and 4 boxes of the Ziploc on top of my other groceries and used printable coupons.
The vegetable section was cleaned up as well.
On a side note: The 1lb ground beef was on for $3 however if you went into the frozen meat section across from the yogurt, they had a 4 pack of lean ground for $10. This was the better deal. I have also bought the frozen pack of the striploin steaks for $10 and they were really good.

All I can figure is that there must be a line of people waiting for the store to open on the day the flyer starts. I have sent my Hubby on day 1 on his way home from work and the shelves have been bare!I always forget to ask if they do rain-checks at NF..... anybody else know?

I went the first day of the last sale and bought 8 bottles of gain. They didn't have a whole lot there and I went back a couple days later and they didn't seem to have new stock of it either.
