Get THIS!

The Walmart cashier calls over the Manager when the register owed me $2 (after some $1 Glades and $1 Nivea's with the $2 coupons amongst all my other coupons for my trip). The Manager says this to the Cashier and me...."It would be crazy of Walmart to refuse somebody who wants to pay $2 for a $1 item" and proceeds to tell the cashier to pay me.

Now don't you wish all the Manager's had that attitude!!

this happened to me too at WM and they paid me $4.90 :)

Wow, how cool! I wish my Walmart's manager was as awesome as this one.

I had to "fight" last night about this issue... had to go home and get coupon policy.. took it into manager ... he was shocked and gave me a $10 GC for not following WM coupon rules!! He said he will pass this around the store... for all cashiers.... I did not fight the "I can't take a coupon for Price Matched item".... Next time! CARRY THE POLICY!

I wished WM treated me that nicely :(.

Now I know that Walmart is not actually getting $2 for the $1 item (if they are giving change for the difference), but they are making a sale (most likely LOTS of sales where they would not normally be making them), so they should be happy when we show up. Funny how there could be two totally different attitudes towards us SC'rs.

Great manager. I was also told that I couldn't use a coupon on a price matched item, but I said that that is incorrect, and the woman called her supervisor and she said it was OK to do.

I don't understand how so much incorrect info can be so widely spread.
