What are you thankful for today?

I'm thankful I noticed my Roastin Pan was leaking BEFORE it was too late. Happy Easter. (not thankful for the 25 cm of snow we are getting)

by chance i went to see my dad this morning and

i was able to talk to the doctor who is taking care of my dad for the next 2 weeks about my concern that dad is always very sleepy when we visit him during the day

i knew this doctor was not one to give pills for non valuable reason...

he took dad's file and look at it with me and reduced the medic that put him asleep at night ....he say ,we'll see if he is OK with it

thank's God i was there this morning

Wow Mia001 - that was so fortunate. It was probably meant to be.

Today I noticed the first flower popping up in my garden bed in Saskatoon -- made my day to see those green shoots breaking through. It's been a long winter and I'm grateful its over.

I'm thankful for having my son home this week, on school holiday! I realize now much more than before how much I miss him since he's gotten older - and busier with school, activities, work, friends... And it's nice to know he misses me, too!

Wow Judstir -- now I feel more thankful -- I'm blessed, truly blessed.

I know what it's like to count down the treatments for my friends and be thankful - but it kinda puts one's own life and family's ups and downs into perspective. Thanks for reminding me.
