What are you thankful for today?

Thankful my DH is cooking supper - Rib Steak on the BBQ.

Approx 3 days left in Ramadan...

I am thankful that DS is sleeping while I feel really bad today. Should get him up now, he's been down for 4 hours

I am thankful my son decided to attend a dance at his high school this evening. He is very shy and I hope this will help him start breaking out of his shell.

Gosh, DiamondLil - I know what that is like - my son was SO shy, too. However, school dances were not the answer - they were all cliquey and he didn't like what was going on 'behind the scenes' (even at a Catholic school, lol!).
What worked for him was finding a school club he loved, then met more friends (and their friends, so the network got bigger) - which for him was the Light and Sound club.

I'm thankful that the weather is cooler today, meaning I can get more done!

I am thankful my cold is starting to ease up a bit ... although everything is sore from too much coughing and i'm still bigtime congested.

I am hopeful though Natalka. He is going with a bunch of kids he went to school with since the first grade, and it was his idea to go with them.

thankful that I'm not in pain (other than hunger pains) though my face is about four times its normal size....and I can't really open my mouth to eat or drink much...hope it goes down and looks ok for work monday...

I came back from a 4 day vacation at a cottage near Parry Sound with some women I didn't know yesterday. I had an absolutely wonderful time. The sky was blue, the water warm (some days) the air fresh and the sun magnificent. Add the scenery and activities such as row boating, canoeing, games, campfire, hikes up the road, stargazing and I would have to say it was one of the most relaxing, centering, peaceful and balanced time of my life. I met knew friends and got reaquainted with God and His wonderful creation.
For all of this....I am most thankful!!
