I'm thankful my 70 year old mother and 73 year old father are celebrating their 48th Wedding Anniversary today and are still together after all these years!

How WONDERFUL!!!
My parents were married 41 years before my dad passed away when he was 66.

I am thankful that my stepson is still alive and walking after breaking two vertebrae in his back last night at his Moms house unsupervised on a trampoline. Please consider getting rid of yours if you have one.

He is going to be okay (hopefully after a long stressfull night and day today full of xrays and drs). We are definitely thankful today (plus mad but will get over that part).

Thank goodness Cheapnik! But what a horrid thing for him to go through! Wish him best of luck for healing quickly.

Still inside. Today was just a non-stress test that I had to do - listening to the heartbeat. Really quite boring, but very reassuring.

I'm thankful that your stepson is going to be okay. I'm thankful for all the doctors, nurses, other health care professionals, family, friends, volunteers, etc. who help to restore the health of others and assist in the healing process with their kind words and actions.

My stepson that broke the 2 vertebrae is 13...today he played xbox and did schoolwork. Dr seems to think he likely will heal okay without a brace. They are fractures and he can still walk. Scared the crap out all of us. Thanks to everybody for their kind thoughts though.
