I am thankful my sister went and got a 2nd opinion at a child neurologist regarding her son and his initial Cerebral Palsy diagnosis...because HE DOESN't have CP!!
Yay, I am sooo happy she went with her gut to seek better medical advise.

I'm thankful for crystal clear blue skies today and being able to watch 6 (!) bald eagles doing big lazy circles over Burrard Inlet.

It is my Dads birthday today and although he passed in 2006 I still miss him everyday. So I'd like to say that I am thankful for my Dad. He was a great man and a good father and I am thankful for all he taught me and all the time we spent together camping and fishing and just hangin'. I am thankful I knew him.

For the medical system in Canada.
Although it is not perfect,it is the envy of the world.

Ditto to that! And I'm thankful for Canada period.
Out of all the people in the world, if you have somehow managed to be a Canadian then it's like winning the lottery of life. Our "problems" pale in comparison to what the vast majority of people in this world have to deal with.
