I am thankful for my family doctor who takes real good care of me, and managed to get me to see an ophtalmologist on the same day I was referred, and my eye is now well on its way to recovery!

For all the grumblings I have about the wait times and the general medical system here, I truly am thankful I have access to good medical care!

the pool guy showed up to drain the pool and re-finish it!!! YAY!!!! the were supposed to be done by the end on January but are showing up for the first time today!!! No more gross water in the back yard!!!

I'm so thankful that all wee (?) Jack wanted to do after day-care was sit on my lap very quietly and let me sing "I love you a bushel and a peck..." (it's a very old song!) softly into his ear for as long as I wanted while his Mommy made dinner! He's usually too rambunctious to hold still....this was the ultimate thrill for me! And he clapped evey time I finished singing and said "More, pees...".
Ah......made my week!!!
